Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based upon mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.
The size of the file generated will depend on the resolution required but the size of the vector file generating the bitmap/raster file will always remain the same. Thus it is easy to convert from a vector file to a range of bitmap/raster file formats but it is very much more difficult to go in the opposite direction, especially if subsequent editing of the vector picture is required.
A new logo created while working for Systems Connect for the HCG Weightloss Plan. This logo is an improvement upon their existing logo in that it contains relevant imagery and more vivid colors that allow the product to stand out.
This is a holiday card that will be printed and shipped to all of Systems Connect\'s clientelle. The objective was to show a new handle on technology and a new direction that the company is taking. This piece was done in illustrator mostly using the 3d revolve tool and repetition of simple geometry placed carefully to achieve the perspective effect. The design is all vector based except for the logo.
A logo for HCG Weightloss System, created while working for Systems Connect. Original color schemes were used and I wanted to go for a metaphor that would include the number five since there are five steps to the program. The last step would leave a person feeling better and appear thinner.
Several logos created for TipSoft Software. They will use this for a facebook application and for their own company branding. Logo done in vector, using Illustrator CS3. Done while working at Systems Connect.
Done with the 3D mesh tool in Illustrator. This consists of only 2D vector graphics. No 3d tools were used in the development of this design. The original reference used was a Mario character from a Nintendo 64 game.
A vector logo done for my band Xyris. This is used for all the band online sites including MySpace, Last.fm, Facebook, xyrisband.com and many others. Done in Illustrator.
