Google Docs is a very versatile online tool which is similar to Microsoft Office, but different in that it is completely free and you are able to open it using just a web browser. You can then edit your documents, be it text, spreadsheets, power point presentations or forms, and someone else can edit at the same time while being logged in from another computer, thus allowing true collaboration. Sayschool.com is a forum for schools to post announcements easily for all their students. This system is meant to be officially supported by schools. The forum provides privacy for the students and certain degrees of separation with students from different schools, but still allows for communication to students from other schools when desired. Initially, this site will support only local Savannah schools, but will soon expand to other schools in the state and possibly other states as well.
